What can CBD do for me
CBD and the Menstrual Cycle
You have now started to see that the Endocannabinoid System is an important part of your genetic makeup. This system is helping you to maintain a healthy body, spirit, and mind. You may turn to CBD to help you with issues that are occurring in your life but in my opinion, prevention is better than cure. This is another reason why this supplement should be taken daily as part of your routine.CBD could be a great way to help with the menstrual cycle. There are many receptors in this area and as a result, this could help with the negative reactions associated with this monthly event.
The Build-Up Of Body Fat.
Don’t go buying CBD thinking you are going to shed loads of pounds as nothing has been proven on humans and it is NOT going to happen. I mention this here as the CB1 receptors are located on our fat cells. If these cells are under or overactive CBD may help them get back into their normal states. This could help regulate the cells and provide balance. Scientists are looking into this as a means of controlling obesity. At the end of the day that process all comes down to the balance of what is going into the body versus what is going out and this can never be avoided no matter what type of herb, oil, or drink you consume.
Relief From Anxiety & Triggering Anxiety
When we feel anxious or overstimulated due to the brain releasing certain chemicals or hormones, we often go to a GP who would prescribe medications to deal with this.Sickness, in its many forms, often occurs due to a build of negative circumstances. We are merely looking to treat the aftermath. There are many ways we can reduce the frequency of this. A well-balanced diet, keeping hydrated and other things like meditation. Of course CBD, in my opinion, has an advantage as it is working with your body’s needs and is helping to reduce or prevent this from occurring. CBD has been shown to suppress the chemicals/hormones that overstimulate the body and block them from doing this. This, of course, is good news for us if we are looking to get a good night’s sleep or stay relaxed and calm throughout our lives.
Slowing Down The Firing Of The Nerve Cells
When someone has a seizure the brain is firing too much. CBD interacts by stopping these cells from firing too much which can reduce the attacks. Cannabis oil, which is basically CBD with an extra Cannabinoid THC, has been seen to be effective in children’s epilepsy. There are however many types of this and every person who has this is unique in the sense that their triggers differ. This means the strain and dosage can differ. My wife has epilepsy and we do not doubt that CBD helps with her triggers which are lack of sleep and stress.
“Marc, I can’t put my finger on it. I’m just more relaxed and things that used to bother me don’t and people are saying I look better. It must be doing something”
Modifying Your Sensitivity To Pain
CB1 receptors are located in the spinal cord. We, of course, all know that this is the heart of the nerve system. When pain is sent to and from this area it can be dulled or lost as the signals are suppressed. This is why it could help with pain management. What many don’t realize is, pain is the body’s way of telling you something is wrong. We should always be looking at the route causes of our issues.
It is why so many people are surprised when I often look deeper into their issues to try and get to the heart of the problem. (I have a background in Fitness and Nutrition)
Connecting The Brain And Gut
The Endocannabinoid system is the axis from where the brain talks to the stomach. Stress is a key factor in IPS or Irritable Bowel Syndrome. If these stress hormones are in balance your IPS can be reduced. Your gut plays a huge role in your well being.
Maintaining heart health
CB2 receptors also work well with the heart. This is a large muscle that is constantly working under pressure. CBD is heart-friendly. It can aid in the reduction and slow down the build-up of fatty plaques in your arteries. The build of these plaques causes heart disease.
Supporting bone health
CBD works with the cells in form bone. It helps with the creation of bone cells and helps stop the creation of cells that break down the bone.
Controlling nausea and vomiting
Again the CBD receptors that live and thrive in the brain are also based in the areas of the brain that help to regulate the vomiting reflex. This can also control nausea and vomiting.
Not forgetting the main reason why I found and continue to use CBD to this day. CBD in conjunction with my mindfulness routines really has helped me and millions more for these issues.
